Aussie poker terms and conditions are now easier to find online than ever before, as new sites have sprung up in the country.
PokerStars, which operates on the popular poker app PokerStars, has more than a million users across the world, and has been able to offer poker terms to Australians since it launched in Australia in 2014.
A poker user is defined as someone who is “currently registered with PokerStars and using the PokerStars mobile app”.
“Our new poker terms are the result of years of work to simplify our terms, and allow for better user experience across all of our poker platforms,” PokerStars CEO, Matt Gifford, said in a statement.
“These terms are now accessible from our poker app for Australians and will be available in the future.”
Mr Giffords said that because the terms were now available to all, it would make it easier for Australians to find the poker terms they are looking for.
Paddy Power also has poker terms available in Australia, although the Australian company does not allow the terms to be shared across the poker apps.
“As part of our agreement with Paddy Power, we are providing the poker players and users of PokerStars in Australia with the opportunity to find their favourite poker terms,” a PokerStars spokesperson said.
Pinnacle Poker, a US-based online poker firm, has been a leader in the Australian market for more than 10 years, but its poker terms haven’t been updated for many years.
The US firm, which also offers its poker games to customers in the US, has a huge customer base of Australians, but there is a catch: the poker games are restricted to US residents.
PraiseScore has poker rules that are also accessible on poker terms pages.
While the rules on the Australian terms are still not available online, a spokesperson said that the Australian Poker Association (APA) was in discussions with the company about updating the rules.
The APA’s spokesperson said the Australian poker terms were not in the APA database and that the poker sites would be updated as soon as possible.
